**Demurrage & Detention Performance**
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including Head Office - France and local agencies.
- Communicate the D&D budget and follow up with countries to ensure that goals are met.
- Conduct a country analysis to learn about D&D trends in each country (Billed, collected, cycle time measurement). Be able to explain how the activities evolved.
- Keep track of the gaps between the target and the realization and take appropriate action. Detect performance deterioration as soon as possible.
**Demurrage & Detention Monitoring**
- Monitor the D&D ageing balance and push for improvements in line with the goals.
- Follow up on the D&D standards implemented by the various Agencies. Follow up with agencies to push for improvements/alignments where possible if deviations from Group policy/Asia Regional Office recommended process are discovered.
- Challenge commercial decisions by following up on the type of tariff (general or special) that was applied and the impact of the unit revenue.
- Keep an eye on Invoice Timeliness and work to improve it in line with the target.
- Ensure that TBI (to be invoiced) and Rejected INVOICES are cleared/resolved by the due date.
- Actively seek system development and reporting tools (dashboards/reports) to support our growth and KPI achievement monitoring
**Demurrage & Detention Audit and Missions**
- Conduct on-site audits in the agencies that fall under your purview. (Conduct an off-site audit if on-site auditing is not possible due to travel restrictions or a COVID situation.)
- Complete the audit report and any necessary follow-up to bring the audit to a close.
- Be familiar with the countries you’ve been assigned to and the D&D procedures.
- Attend meetings with agencies to discuss communication.
- Hold weekly/monthly meetings with agencies to coordinate efforts among the various stakeholders.
- As needed, other relevant ad-hoc tasks.
