The Logistics Assistant is part of the Logistic and Warehouse team residing in the manufacturing plant. This position is responsible to perform materials goods receipt, storage, plant transfer and goods issuing activities, from point of receiving to storage, for internal and external fulfilments of the manufacturing plant.

**Job Description
**Logistics and Warehouse - Execution**
- Forklift movement of inventory from suppliers' trucks, and containers unloading to Warehouse staging area (incl. empty pallets) for inbound shipments.
- Conduct general visual inspection of received items, tally receipts SKU, quantity, in accordance to packing list/delivery note specifications.
- Perform goods receipt of materials to warehouse location putaway, in accordance to defined SOP/WI.
- Perform goods pick for internal transfer and distribution, in accordance to defined SOP/WI.
- MHE movement of inventory to/from Warehouse storage locations and Production line or staging area (incl. empty pallets).
- Perform goods pick based on picklist specifications, and pack ready for despatch in good conditions, in accordance to SOP/WI.
- Update weight and dimensions for packing list creation.
- MHE movement from Warehouse to trucks, and containers loading for outbound shipments.
- Receive and issue HOLD / REWORK WIP from the production line.
- Transfer defect products or waste from Production to the specific area where they are staged to be destroyed.

**Logistics and Warehouse - Inventory**
- Perform daily cycle-counting and month end physical count.

**Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health**
- Execute safe environment and safety workplace practices in all operations duties and initiatives.

**Maintenance**
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment check in accordance with checklist, prior to operating.

**Job Requirements**
- GCE N / O Level, ITE certification (related discipline)
- Minimum 1 -2 years of relevant experience working in manufacturing (in-plant logistics) or 3PL warehousing environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of warehousing processes (Inbound Putaway and Outbound Pick Pack, Dispatch, Container Stuffing/Unstuffing).
- Valid Forklift License to operate.
- MHE operating experience (Forklift, Reach Truck/Stacker).
- Able to work shift.
