**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities**:

- Market Development - Develop and maintain client relationships in line with the ECA/Blended Finance strategy and risk appetite of SFDA with the view to originating financing opportunities as well as to maximise ancillary business for SMBC
- Prepare financial proposals including term sheets & presentations
- Prepare internal credit paper & support all aspects of the administration & execution of transactions from origination to drawdowns
- Build, review & run sensitivities on financial models/cash flow
- Identity & monitor market developments & opportunities
- Oversee documentation with support from internal and external legal counsel
- Liaise with various internal & external stakeholders & clients as necessary

**Job Requirements**
- Recognized University degree and/or at least 7-12 years of equivalent professional experience in the banking industry
- Previous experience and sound knowledge of ECA Finance
- Good knowledge of modelling, documentation, credit analysis, origination process
- Works independently as well as with a team
- Previous deal leading role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work with people of all levels of seniority and maintain relationship across functions
- Proactive and fast learner, with an eye for details and ability to deliver within tight deadlines
- Resilient and committed, ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure
