**Job Overview**:As a Fundraising Specialist you would be responsible for raising capital and cultivating relationships with prospective investors, including institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and family offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fundraising Strategy Development**:

- Develop and implement capital-raising strategies for the firm's investment funds, tailored to institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Assist in setting fundraising targets and timelines in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the firm’s portfolio managers and other teams to ensure the marketing of investment products is aligned with investor needs and market trends.
- **Investor Outreach and Acquisition**:

- Identify and target potential investors such as pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, wealth managers, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Conduct outreach through meetings, calls, and events to generate interest and secure commitments for the firm’s investment products.
- Lead investor onboarding and facilitate initial meetings between prospective investors and senior leadership.
- **Investor Relations and Communication**:

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing investors.
- Act as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries, providing detailed and up-to-date information on fund performance, strategy, and market outlook.
- **Fundraising Campaigns and Materials**:

- Create compelling marketing and fundraising materials, including pitch decks, offering memorandums, quarterly reports, and updates.
- Develop digital and traditional marketing campaigns to promote the firm's investment strategies to target investor segments.
- **Due Diligence Support**:

- Guide investors through the due diligence process, providing the necessary documentation, financial reports, and strategy information.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, capital raising, investor relations, or business development in the investment management or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the investment management industry, including private equity, hedge funds, private credit, fund of funds, and other alternative investment products.
- Proven experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and capital raising, particularly with institutional investors and family offices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages for different types of investors.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with fundraising for specific asset classes, such as private equity, private credit, or alternative investments.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance related to investment management and fundraising.
- Strong network of institutional investors, family offices, and wealth management firms.
