Job Responsibilities:

- Weight and Centre of Gravity management for major offshore projects associated with oil and gas industry
- Under broad direction, working to a defined budget and program
- Interfacing with Project multi discipline teams at all levels
- Utilizing industry knowledge and benchmarking tools to compile weight and centre of gravity estimates
- Under general supervision, plan, organize, coordinate and control projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by client
- Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focus on providing client satisfaction
- Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders
- Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities
- Management of internal and external project interfaces
- Responsible for delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the project schedule, including early identification and resolution of problems that may impact progress

Job Requirements:

- Degree in Structural Engineering with a minimum of 12 years’ related experience or can demonstrate equitable experience gained in a multi discipline environment in a supervisory role
- Must have experience of weight and centre of gravity management in the oil and gas industry.
- Needs to be able to communicate effectively at all levels, especially in a multi-discipline project environment, with good potential to develop strong leadership skills
- Effective user of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word, also good knowledge of databases and design tools (E3D, AutoCAD, etc.) essential
- Experience with oil and gas engineering company doing Offshore projects
- Experience and knowledge of procurement, topsides/module fabrication is preferred
- Knowledge of multi discipline execution of offshore projects
- Knowledge of 3D CAD and other Engineering and Design Tools including Navisworks
