Learning Advisor

Position
The job profile for this position is Learning Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role
The Learning Advisor (LA) will serve as a strategic partner helping leaders, employees, and stakeholders across the region by consulting on identifying learning requirements, employee capability assessment, selection, and onboarding. The LA will work with other teams within Enterprise Learning and elsewhere to bring new programs to life. The LA must be able to manage multiple programs throughout the full lifecycle and on an ongoing basis and can operate comfortably both strategically and tactically. The LA will utilize metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify gaps and enhance, or retire, programs to improve the learning experience and outcomes for learners and stakeholders.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Create and execute learning strategies and programs
Work closely with multiple stake holders and CHRO’s to conduct regional TNI and design an annual learning plan
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
Design and deliver learning courses, employee onboarding programs, workshops and other trainings
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
Track budgets and negotiate contracts and knows how to work with vendors and get the most out of the relationships
Collaborates with the larger Enterprise learning team to create, maintain, and execute programs
Understands and uses learning metrics to track program results
Able to develop collaborative and influential relationships across the company and across roles
Must have executive presence and be comfortable working with senior leaders
Must have the ability to operate comfortably in both the strategic and tactical realms and can easily switch between the two
Continuously explores process improvement and automation opportunities while ensuring quality of the programs, resulting in a positive experience for employees
Must have a keen understanding of Cigna's business and stay current on Cigna's evolving strategy and growth platforms
Continuously improves own capabilities and areas of expertise
Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
5+ years classroom and virtual facilitation experience
Experience facilitating learning and coaching on a variety of business, interpersonal, and technical topics
Experience in multiple areas of learning and development such as consulting, solutions design / implementation, instructional design, learning technology and infrastructure, informal / collaborative learning, etc.
Demonstrated results in improving organizational performance through learning
Demonstrated learning agility and innovation
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate difficult situations in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and oral communication
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior executives
Demonstrated passion for driving quality outcomes
Deep understanding of the various Cigna Businesses and the leaders throughout
Strong matrix management skills with proven ability to drive quality work to completion
Demonstrate impeccable time management and ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
Able to travel 25-50% of the time

**Educational Requirements**:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree a must / Bachelor’s in engineering or Economics
Facilitation certification a must
+ Knowledge of Data and Analytics framework and tools
