R&D Hardware Design Engineer (Analog - Expert)

Partner Business Manager Serves as a trusted adviser to the Partner and develops a mutually beneficial relationship in alignment with HPE business priorities. Drives end-to-end revenue, HPE profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts. Articulates both HPE global and local business strategies to effectively “sell with”, “sell to”, and “sell through” the Partner, creating a scalable selling ecosystem. Develops knowledge of Partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscape, IT investment strategy, HPE priorities, and HPE Technology to differentiate HPE from competitors. Coordinates and executes HPE activities with the Partner, leveraging HPE specialists when needed. Aligns field sales to drive increased value to HPE for pipeline and revenue/profit growth while leveraging the collective strength of the partner ecosystem. Leads HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of the Partner to assure accelerated financial outcomes and build partner loyalty to HPE. These jobs focus on selling to customers through the Partner as an extension of HPE's salesforce, typically through work that occurs outside HPE offices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Leads multiple project teams and provides domain-specific expertise to other analog/power engineers in cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Responsible in designing and implementing analog and power circuits, conducting design validation test and working cross functionally with other development groups.
- Research and drive innovative solutions for cost, size, power efficiency and reliability, including filing patents and enabling next generation technology.
- Generate design documentations, perform schematic capture, design board layouts, circuit bring-up.
- Solves complex technical issues, owns the technical aspects of assigned responsibility, including investigations and root cause analysis of field escalations.
- Plan and schedule to meet goals, deliverables and deadlines.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less
- experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required:
We require you to mínimally possess these capabilities:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 6-10 years’ design experience in large or small scale enterprise hardware systems with at least 8 years in power/analog domain.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Highly proficient in power electronics and DC/DC converters implementation.
- Strong circuit analysis and synthesis skills.
- Experience with PCA development, analog simulation and debugging tools.
- Excellent understanding of the characteristics of power semiconductors/passives and principles of switching regulators.
- Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills to enable global and cross-functional engagements.
- Ability to effectively communicate power architecture, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
