Senior Specialist, Solar Performance Monitoring

This role ensures projects are completed with required quality before Commercial Operation Date.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor the health of EDPR's extensive solar fleet, comprising more than 3000 distributed solar generation plants and utility-scale plants in Singapore and the surrounding region.
- Exercise due vigilance and detect faults with the solar plants using the Envision monitoring portal and promptly escalate high-impact faults to the maintenance team within 2 hours of detection.
- Conduct immediate performance diagnostics on solar plants facing issues and provide well-defined rectification actions to optimize performance.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in the monitoring portal by identifying and correcting data errors.
- Perform in-depth performance and long-term behavior analysis of the solar assets.
- Generate high-level system performance data for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in Root Cause Analyses of solar plant failures or their inability to perform up to its desired level.

**Requirements**:

- Academic Level: Bachelor or Graduate Degree in Engineering
- Required Professional experience: At least 2 years in the solar industry, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Specific knowledge: Strong knowledge of engineering and quality standards for DG photovoltaic projects.
- Skills / Competencies: Problem Solving Skills / Strong communication and analytical skills, self motivated and proactive person with a “can-do” attitude. Strong or more advanced users of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Dynamics365 and Python will be viewed upon favourably.
- Languages: Proficient in English. Any additional languages would be an advantage.
