Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research Full time

Lead the network team to oversee and deliver Network Infra (wired and wireless), Network Security and Voice services to support A*STAR Corporate, Research, and digital initiatives.

Other responsibilities include:

- Oversee and manage the delivery of network services and initiatives for A*STAR.
- Ensure a reliable network infrastructure and smooth network operations to support A*STAR’s business objectives and processes.
- Plan, design and implement network technologies, processes, and projects to improve the network security and operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Plan and manage network infrastructure budget
- Lead and manage network audits, and to ensure the network infrastructure and operations are adhered to the IT policies, standards, and procedures
- Collaborate/Liaise with department leaders to assess near
- and long-term network capacity needs and business requirements.
- Ensure timely implementation of projects in line with requirements, schedule and within budget.
- Vendor management
- Ensure proper documentation of network architecture, configurations, and SOPs
- Assist in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent).
- Network certification (CCNP/CCIE), CITPM/PMP certification
- At least 8 years of experience in project management and managing a team of network engineers supporting large enterprise network infra and operations with above 1000 users
- Strong knowledge with in-depth hands-on experience in core network technologies such as routing & switching, wireless and voice.
- Knowledge on LAN, WAN & Wireless, switching & routing technologies (such as VLAN, STP, VRF, OSPF, BGP, etc.), MPLS, IPv6, Multicast, L3VPN, QoS, CoS/DSCP, DNS/DHCP, NAC is required.
- Knowledge and experience on SD Access, SD-WAN, Cloud & Network Automation will be an added advantage.
- Good presentation, communications, and written skills.
- Good problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and complex work environment.
- Ability to work as a team and independently when required, and focus on priorities in a fast-paced environment
