Senior Training Officer, Day Activity Centre

**We are looking for a dynamic individual who is caring and passionate about giving back to the community and working with special needs adults.**

**This individual will be known as a Training Officer and will be responsible for the care and wellbeing of our clients.**

**Core Responsibilities**:

- To use evidence-based methods to train and assist adults with disabilities in ADLs (activities of daily living), CLSs (community living skills and pre-vocational skills.
- Attend to the personal needs of these adults and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide an individual care plan for each client.
- Assists Senior Training Officer to provide guidance and support to Training Officers.

**Requirement**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, and the public.
- Must have initiative and works proactively.
- Able to work independently.
- Client and family centric
- Has a can - do attitude and able to motivate others.
- Have high levels of patience and passion for working with adults with disabilities.
