a) Functions primary as a WSH Officer as per duties in WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH (WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICERS) REGULATIONS 2007 and to fulfil client’s legal WSH obligation to appoint a WSH Officer. b) Assist to manage and monitor the HSE performance of our clients. c) Monitor and advise on all HSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. d) Responsible for Client’s HSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its accreditations where applicable. ( Eg. Bizsafe, ISO45001 etc) e) Review and monitor the business activities, permits, certificates and relevant documents to ensure the compliance of the relevant statutory requirements at all times, including the international standards, local regulations, code of practices and legal requirements. f) Prepare and submit the accurate reports on HSE statistics and records in meeting requirements of the relevant authorities and corporate reporting’s. g) Developing and implementing HSE Procedures and Annual HSE program h) Act on behalf in all relevant authorities correspondences. i) Serves as lead/ focal point for HSE. j) Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by his/her manager, encapsulated within HSE scope. **Profile** a) Preferably with experience managing multiple sites. b) Preferably excel In the field of Health & Safety as well as Environment with at least >10years in handling above endeavors. c) Possess suitable qualifications in above area, example: (i) MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer or at least completed WSH Training from recognised institution. (ii) SCDF Qualified Fire Safety Manager (iii) Internal or Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO45001 and others. d) Experience in managing a facility is advantageous, but not a must as training will be provided. **Required Skills**: a) Have managed > 5 multinational companies as advisor/consultant in Health & Safety or have shown experiences in managing these areas. b) Good interpersonal and communication skills. c) Able to communicate well with all level of management. d) Energetic, flexible and innovative. Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls e) Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously f) Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide as well as overseas occasionally. g) Able to converse and write in English as well as a 2nd language( eg.
