As a Sales Specialist for Process Automation Measurement and Analytics Division, you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned divisions
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution
- Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
- Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
- Identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed
- Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager
- Knowledge and experience of in using CRM and sales tools (use of SFDC would be a plus) the use of the main tools as support the sales activities as salesforce, etc

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation or instrumentation
- More than 5 years working experience in automation, instrument and analytical sales or project experience
- Must have Instrument and analyzers technical knowledge, account management
- Good to have Utility, O&G and/or Offshore (FPSO) industry background, good communications and relationship building skills
- Able to handle multi tasks and manage different customers for products and project selling
- Driven, collaborative and flexible mind-set
- Have work rights in Singapore
