Our client is one of the biggest IT providers, that specialized in providing innovative solutions and infrastructure to their customers.
They are presently hiring Application Lead who is responsible for plays a key role in managing customer requirements/needs for banks’ business utilizing IT solution in both new and existing systems.
Incumbent manages the positive relationships with customers communicating with project manager and team members to provide IT solution.
During the project life cycles, incumbent will also contribute to high-level system design, test plan/scenario creation, maintenance with expertise of customer business process/provided system knowledge.
【What will you be working on】
- To lead, plan and manage project team communicating with internal/external stakeholders

including offshore development team.
- Provide progress report to project manager for assigned tasks to the project team.
- Lead issue resolution (Investigation, Fixing, Testing, Module release)
- For any change request is raised, understand and clarify the customer’s expectation, and work with (offshore) development team to fix the implementation approach.
- Conduct review on project deliverables.
- Provide the support for the customer in any incidents/clarification on the systems.
- ** Requirement**:

- 【What they're looking for】
- 5+ years of experience as Application developer.
- 5+ years of experience for Requirement gathering/creating design spec.
- Experience of leading development team
- Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N1) to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese customer
- Experience in full SDLC cycle with waterfall development model.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- Knowledge of Linux Server, Oracle DB Server, Application server(like WAS, JBoss, etc).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Customers and offshore team management skills.
- Familiar with core banking system*
- Experience of coding from scratch
- Knowledge of MQ(IBM MQ) and File transfer(SFTP)
- Have prior experience of involvement in banking domain system development*
- Experience of working with Japanese banks
