Singapore BIOCELL INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD. Full time

Processing, testing and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Units (CBUs), Bone Marrow (BM) and Peripheral Blood Stem Cells (PBSC).
- Processing of blood product from bone marrow, peripheral blood, adipose tissue, cord tissue.
- Processing and culturing stem cells, including:

- Isolate Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells from a variety of sources (umbilical cord tissue, adipose tissue and bone marrow).
- Maintain cell cultures (feed, expand and split cells).
- Perform cells cryopreservation.
- Relocate cryopreserved cells from quarantine tank to final storage tank.
- Ensure proper labelling, testing, processing and disposition of all cord blood, cord stem cell, BM and PBSC samples received.
- Assist with the release of CBUs and other HSC units for transplantation.
- Perform entry of laboratory and test data pertaining to the CBUs, CSCs, BM and PBSC.
- Using flow cytometry to perform stem cell markers testing
- Performing potency testing
- Document and compile laboratory test results and ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory equipment and instruments, sterilize all CO2 incubators (on a periodic basis) and troubleshoot technical issues and taking corrective actions
- Perform all levels of quality control activities as necessary
- Assessing vendors as required and ensuring laboratory operations are efficient, eg. supplies are delivered on a timely basis
- Preparing samples for external laboratory testing (endotoxin, mycoplasma, etc)
- Recording accurately all data into worksheets or internal systems and matching results into individual client’s folder and generating client’s report
- Ensuring positive cases are reported to the Laboratory Director, Admin and Customer Service on a timely basis
