Development and customizations to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Writing NAV code and perform unit testing.
- Uses version control tools to manage software builds.
- Creates customized reports, queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Testing code for validity of results, accuracy and conformance to specified development specifications.
- Create supporting code documentation.
- Review changes with management and perform required updates.
- Develop data migration tools for migrating customer's data into NAV.
- Assisting with the preparation of the project status report, project timeline and project budget.
- Providing go live and post-implementation on going operational support.
- Works with technical team to design and optimize databases.
- Creates SSRS reports and SSIS packages for reporting/data management.
- Maintains awareness of the latest software development tools and business processes to ensure the programming efforts use the most efficient resources and current best practices available.
- Works with direct supervisor and Project Managers to establish appropriate scope, deliverables, timetables, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

**Knowledge and Experience Requirements**:

- 15 Plus years of experience in Analysing, Designing, Development and release/deployment and testing Experience.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and relevant products.

**Formal Education & Certification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related experience.
- Microsoft certification is a prerequisite.

**Skills Required**:

- Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience, including page and report development in Visual Studio.
- Prior Dynamics NAV upgrade and data migration experience.
- Understanding and if necessary Developing system integrations as needed (APIs, CSV,FTP, Web Services).
- Experience with financial and Reporting components of Dynamics NAV.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle multiple situations, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong skills in problem solving and management, communication in group and individual settings, and professional writing.
- Experience with developing vendor software solutions sold to, and used by, numerous businesses.
- Experience with Microsoft Transact-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and above.
- Experience with SSRS, SSIS, Scribe, North52 a big plus.
