**Job Summary**

Reporting to the APAC Region Tax Director, you will be responsible to support the corporate income tax related projects and matters in the APAC region including the tax compliance, advisory, planning and risk management etc. You will review the tax compliance and assist with guidance to tax issues revolving around the business operations, internal restructuring initiatives, business structuring, merger & acquisition activities, and integration etc.

**What You Will Do**:

- Oversee the tax compliance process to ensure that tax compliance obligations across the region are met in a timely manner. This includes tax provision, tax reporting & compliance and all internal reporting matters.
- Provide support in analyzing and implementing tax legislation/policy changes and proactively keep abreast of tax policy changes in the region.
- Play an active role in supporting the tax optimization projects, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in providing recommendations, enhance tax practices and processes across the region and ensure that all aspects of tax have been considered.
- Support tax planning in business transactions, new business initiatives like investment expansion and M&A etc.
- Implement improvement to tax process and work procedures, including digital tools and automation processes.
- Proactively develop plans to mitigate tax risks and optimize opportunities in the region.

**What you have**

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Minimum 8 years of experience from working at public international accounting firm or large multinational corporations
- Strong knowledge of corporate income tax including Singapore tax practice and international tax experience
- Recognized degree in Accountancy, Taxation, ACCA, or equivalent
- Problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize multi-task or multiple projects and handle diverse issues in a complex environment
- High level of initiative, good judgment, and superior communication skills
- Self-motivation with strong project management skills
