Zoom is growing its tax team to meet the demands of a changing tax landscape and growing company. The APAC Tax Manager will play a critical role in building an in-region tax capability providing support to key stakeholders.

Reporting to the APAC Tax Lead, this person will bring strong regional tax knowledge related to the technology and telecommunications industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a wide range of regional tax matters, including but not limited to: tax accounting, tax compliances, tax audit / controversies, tax analysis, tax planning / advisory projects, etc.
- Work with internal / external counterparts to ensure timely and accurate tax related submissions
- Support tax reporting duties required for US GAAP/ASC 740 purposes
- Monitor direct and indirect tax developments, government budget or other policy changes in APAC region
- Provide support to business and customers, e.g. withholding tax matters, review and provide input to commercial agreements
- Support tax audit and controversy processes for a smooth closure
- Support new business initiatives in the region
- Support other tax initiatives / projects assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree holder, with Singapore or internationally recognised CPA qualifications
- 8+ years of professional tax experience working in Big 4 tax departments and / or in house tax team of a MNC (preferably US listed) in Singapore
- Prior experience with technology/software/telecom industry is highly preferred, with good knowledge in Digital Service Tax and other related tax developments in digital economy / e-commerce sectors
- Experience in supporting ASC 740 tax accounting requirements and processes
- Experience in managing tax audit / controversy activities
- Detail oriented with hands on mindset
