**Job Description**:
The Regional IT Manager will coordinate closely with the IFI Global Director of IT Operations, the Informa Global Support, and cross-functional Information Technologist across the organization to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions in line with the organization’s strategic vision. This person will also participate in defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

This position is based in Singapore. The incumbent will travel, as required to local offices, countries in Asia Pacific region, the United States, and the United Kingdom in order to implement technology solutions and provide technical support

**Responsibilities**:

- Specific responsibilities of the Regional IT Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning
- Monitoring, upgrades, backups and maintain of all hardware and software systems;
- Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems;
- Planning and executing technology projects and system implementations in an organized and effective manner;
- Establishing project scopes, goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables that support business goals and tracking projects progress;
- Assisting IT staff in planning and managing new office build outs, and office moves;
- Mentoring and training IT staff on supporting IFI infrastructure, systems, platform and end-user community;
- Planning and developing IT budgets, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness;
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure and equipment in each office;
- Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements;
- Developing, and implementing new IT procedures, reviewing and enhancing existing procedures;
- Suggest new technologies, equipment and systems to assist changing requirements.
- Update evolving technologies and recommend improved equipment and systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated ability to manage IT systems and staff locally and remotely through appropriate technology;
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute technology projects and system implementations effectively;
- Management skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English, able to speak Chinese and/or Japanese is a plus;
- Ability and willingness to travel in the APAC region, United Kingdom and the United States as required;
- Experience working as a team leader coupled with strong problem solving and communication skills required;
- Hands-on experience working with MS Windows Server, Active Directory, MS SQL Server, Linux/Unix Operating Systems, back Backup software, database and AWS cloud hosting services;
- Software development abilities is a plus
- Bachelor' Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years' experience in information technology management
