Design, develop and deliver data integration/data extraction solutions using IBM DataStage and ControlM for flow scheduling.
- ETL Migration experience
- Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions.
- Data integration design using multiple data format: database, flat file, XML, csv, IDOC, mainframe
- Work closely with support teams for production support - Have a hands-on approach to solving problems; when required, be able to lead-by-example-type of person in developing snippets of the code that team can use and follow.
- Have deep knowledge of data architectures, data integration and methodologies.
- Have a thorough knowledge of working in Agile environments and familiar with Scrum methodology.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business operations and understands the technical scope and objectives of each project.
- 5+ years of experience as an ETL data integration developer.
- Mandatory: ETL, DataStage 8.x, DataStage 9.x, Unix, SQL Senior level knowledge in Core Competencies: Hands-on development on Datastage as an ETL tool, ETL architecture, Datawarehouse development knowledge, Information Technology/Software Development, Technical Writing, Process Flow Documentation, Strong Communication Skills
- Experiences on working with flatfiles (csv,.txt etc.), Excel, XML, Json, webservices, SAP ABAP/IDoc
- Database knowledge: Oracle, SQL server, DB2
- Experience of KAFKA is a plus.
- Willing to learn new technologies: EAI (Webmethods or Mulesoft)
- Demonstrated superior competence in soft skills associated with core competencies such as documentation, communication, leadership, facilitation, team management & customer relationships.
- Knowledge of Retail industry: Supply chain, Manufacturing, Finance.
- Strong track record of interviewing business partners, setting and managing expectations in relation to deliverables and requirements
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and software project life cycle and associated methodologies.
- Experience with standard systems analysis tools and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish deep understanding of client's business issues.
