National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. Situated at the birthplace of modern Singapore, in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting 64,000 square metre venue. Reflecting Singapore’s unique heritage and geographical location, the Gallery aims to be a progressive museum that creates dialogues between the art of Singapore, Southeast Asia and the world to foster and inspire a creative and inclusive society. This is reflected in our collaborative research, education, long-term and special exhibitions, and innovative programming. The Gallery also works with international museums such as Centre Pompidou, Musée d'Orsay, Tate Britain, National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (MOMAT) and National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), to jointly present Southeast Asian art in the global context, positioning Singapore as a key node in the global visual arts scene.
In 2020, the Gallery was the only museum in Southeast Asia that received a ranking in The Art Newspaper’s annual global survey of attendance at art museums, taking 20th place. It was the first museum in Asia to receive the Children in Museums Award by the European Museum Academy and Hands On International Association of Children in Museums in 2018. The Gallery also won the awards for “Best Theme Attraction” at TTG Travel Awards 2017, “Best Attraction Experience”, “Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism” and “Best Customer Service (Attractions)” at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards in 2016 for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore’s tourism landscape.

DESIGNATION : Manager (Partnership Development)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Champion Corporate Partnership in fundraising for National Gallery exhibitions, programs and festivals from leading corporates, foundations, family offices, and other philanthropic organisations. Strategic development, pitching to, and cultivating relationships with leading corporates for long-term and multi-year partnerships, with cash sponsorship, and co-branding opportunities. Manage/oversee grant-writing team and proposals. Work in a dynamic, collaborative and fun partnership development team.
**Cash and In-Kind Partnership**:
- PD product champion for Partnership & Corporates, to develop partnership strategy including pitching, relationship cultivation and partnership acknowledgements
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices for cash and in-kind donations
- Lead partnership efforts, including developing pitch materials and working with RMs, to secure exhibition and programme partnerships
- Represent PD at exhibition and programme project meetings to share partnership strategy and updates
- Research and identify prospective sponsors suitable for exhibitions and program
- Track and fulfil donor obligations to Gallery and vice versa
- Prospect research and tracking, build an understanding of successful corporate partnerships & co-branding, and cultivate long-term relationships
**Donor stewardship**:
- Organize events that allow prospects to experience the donation impact
- Steward current and past donors to generate repeat partnership
- Create and develop post-exhibition reports to update donors on the success of their supported exhibition/programme
- Nominate donors for Patron of the year award, where appropriate
**Operations and Governance of Partnership Development Division**:
- PD Governance rep to ensure all SOPs and guidelines are in place and reviewed regularly, as well as provide advice to team on governance-related matters
- Execute other ad hoc duty to further the goals of Partnership Development Division, where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, philanthropy, grant management, business development, corporate marketing, corporate social responsibility, donor/stakeholder management, or related field. Experience with fundraising, corporate sector and grant management is preferred.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and independent self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Passion for the mission of the Gallery and keen interest in Arts and Culture sector.
