Research Associate in the laboratory of Professor Joseph Sung
The position is required to conduct research and development work related to trust in precision medicine.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take charge of research & developments on projects in trust in AI medicine and healthcare- Participate in all aspects pertaining to the research and development of the project- Recruiting and testing participants- Perform data collection and analysis, summarize the findings in project reports and present updates of the project- Take charge of general matters for the projects- Keep track of the project progress- Manage part-time undergraduate student assistants- Communicate with the research team and liaise with collaborators- Interview, Focus Group Discussions, Survey and psychological/behavioural experiments- Basic statistical analysis
Skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Economics, Science, Engineering or related fields- Familiar with survey studies and psychological/behavioural experiments- Knowledge of statistical software packages including R, SAS or SPSS- Knowledge of programming languages including Matlab, Python, and/or C++- Strong writing and communication skills, independently and as a team player- Fresh graduates with a solid portfolio demonstrating analytical, model testing, and communication skills are welcomed to apply- Past research experience in behavioural studies, such as surveys or psychological experiments- Ability to conduct preliminary data analysis by statistical software R, SAS, or SPSS, or programming in Matlab, Python, and/or C++
