Senior Financial Analyst

Responsible for the accurate and timely analysis of Regional/Divisional financial statements and their comparison to budget and estimates. In addition, handle monthly performance reporting, forecasting requirements and special projects. Be a business partner for operational management in finance related topics.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and management forecast for the Aftermarket group in Far East
- Responsibility of accurate/timely management reporting
- Assist local finance with efficient and accurate processes for month end close.
- Develop and implement procedures to ascertain accuracy within the general ledger and financial accounting systems and their compliance to corporate guidelines.
- Partnering with operations and be an adviser in financial related topics: Actuals, Forecast, working capital (inventory/AR/unbill)
- Complete special financial analysis projects as required.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Qualification
- Degree in Finance /Accountancy or related field with at least 3- 5 years’ experience
- Intermediate analytical skills
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and ability to handle large data
- Familiar with USGAAP
- Ability to understand business needs and drivers (business acumen)
- Performing work with energy and exploring opportunities (Action Oriented)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships (organizational agility)
- Expect some travelling in Asia.
- Experience with Hyperion planning would be advantageous.
