**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing Health Safety Environment (HSE) activities, ensuring in-line with the company’s objectives and customers’ requirements.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Ensures that processes needed for Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) are established, reviewed and maintained in accordance to the ISO 9001: 2015 standards & API Q1 requirements.
2. Responsible for HSE activities by developing and reviewing procedures, liasing with process owners.
3. Responsible for initiating Management Review (MR) Meeting, Key Performance Objectives (KPO), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the year, review and align with Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
4. Collaborates across the company to ensure that a document control procedure is in place for the identification, storage, release, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records Responsible for planning and conducting internal audits, external audits, customer audits or other audits when required.
5. Perform investigation of the Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-conformances (NCs), reported and documented in timely manner.
6. Conduct ISO awareness trainings, safety trainings or other trainings as required.
7. Plan and conduct regular site inspections for environmental related matters.
8. Promote and raise awareness of HSE activities by implementing training activities (inclusive of developing training materials, training schedule, communication and distribution).
9. Coordinates continual improvements of the HSE, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
10. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental programs.
11. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
12. Ensures GMP is implemented in the work place.
13. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
14. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
15. Assess, guide, conduct or proposed trainings to empower and upgrade skillset of team members.
**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
1. Must complete minimum training required specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1-026F.
2. Proven leadership and management abilities to strategize, prioritize, lead, inspire and motivate a team.
3. Solid understanding of the Quality Management System for ISO 9001:2015 and the HSE Industry Practise.
4. Ensures Accountability - holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
5. Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
6. Decision Quality - making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. Good decisions that are a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgement.
7. Drives Result - consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances. Results might be quantifiable - measured in terms in P&L, sales growth, customer satisfaction ratings, new product launched. Qualitative result - an enhanced reputation among customers, a more vibrant brand that attracts customer and employee talent.
8. Knowledge of ISO9001, Quality Management System, Quality Control and usage of measuring devices/tools.
**QUALIFICATION GUIDE**
1. Education : Minimum Degree in Engineering or any related cources
2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and written English and/or Chinese
3. Experience : Proven and Solid 5 years of work experience in QMS, Health and Safety Environment, ISO and/or API in a manufacturing environment
