Reporting to Manager, HSE, this position will be responsible for promoting and managing Health, Safety & Environment matters in the Production plant.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in executing Safety & Health Management System within Production plant
- Conduct daily plant inspection and routine checks with contractors, including managing them on-site
- Conduct investigatory meetings for any industrial accident or major incident on-site and manage 5S activities
- Coordinate and implement safety programs during plant commissioning, start-up, shutdown, maintenance and modification
- Coordinate and conduct safety induction, training and briefing sessions
- Organize HSE activities and programs to raise awareness on safety, health and environment
- Assist HSE Manager in overseeing the plant security and enforcing compliance to security protocols
- Act as Secretary for WSHE committee and participate in regular committee meetings and representative for Resident Contractor Group Meetings
- Act as Workplace Safety and Health Officer or Fire Safety Manager in accordance to duties under WSH and Fire Safety Acts
- Act as license holder for Petroleum & Flammable Materials or Hazardous Substance storage license if necessary
- Manage Kaizen activities and common Personal Protective Equipment
- Provide advice on HSE matters to employees

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Safety-related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer preferred
- Familiar with MOM, NEA and SCDF safety-related regulations
- Self-motivated, independent and resourceful with a sense of safety consciousness
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Able to perform overtime work whenever required
- Willing to work in Jurong Island
