**Athlete and Coaching Pathway Development**:
- To co-create pathway models for the development of Wushu - Taolu and Sanda in Singapore to meet the Vision and Mission of Singapore Wushu Federation.
- The Pathway and Participation Manager (PPM) shall work closely with the Technical Manager and High-Performance Manager in developing a Pathway model for athletes and coaches leading to High-Performance for Wushu to ensure a cohesive development and gear athletes up for major competitions by 2026.
- The PPM shall work with the respective National coaches to ensure their individual plans for high-performing athletes and the Wushu and Sanda Sub-Committee for coaches in the community.
- Development of Sanda - To design the pathway model focusing on the promotion of Sanda to increase participation in the community, strengthen the pipeline of athletes, and representation at the high-performance stage.
**2. Technical Responsibilities**:
- Focus on the pathway development of the sport in congruence to the objectives stated in the MYSP.
- Contributes to the overall development of the Wushu technical strategies and plans, including ongoing research of best practices to improve pathway development for performance in Wushu competitions and to assist and advise the Management Committee strategic technical directions for the development of Wushu.
- Work closely with Technical Manager and High-Performance Manager, Sport Scientists from SSI and NYSI, MOE and Singapore Sports School to ensure sustainable athlete development in the pipeline.
**3. Reporting**:
- The PPM reports to the Federation’s CEO.
- To work closely with the Technical Manager and High-Performance Manager to develop and continuously refine Wushu’s Pathway Development. To specify desired outcomes (i.e., key performance indicators to be quantified where applicable and to be specified as short, mid, and long-term goals accordingly) within 3 months of commencement of employment.
- To submit all other reports and statistics as and when required.
**Job Holder Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- Possess knowledge in local elite training environment for Wushu. Participation experience in the international level as an athlete is a bonus.
- Holds relevant coaching certificate in Wushu and understands sport-scientific relevance in coaching pedagogies for Wushu.
- Demonstrates deep understanding of the ecosystem of Wushu, in congruence with pathway development and high-performance objectives stipulated in the MYSP.
**Personal Attributes**:
- Works effectively with people and demonstrates qualities/values of a Wushu practitioner.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and able to provide reports when required.
- Shows enthusiasm and preparedness to put athlete performance before personal considerations.
- Available to attend all wushu-related meetings when required.
