- **Roles and Responsibilities**
- Manage, record and update patient’s admission, discharge, transfer details and patient’s subacute/rehabilitation status.
- Greet / attend to enquiries from patients, visitors and other department staff.
- Check and dispatch consumables, pharmaceuticals, other laboratory and x-ray investigation charges daily.
- Sort incoming documents for distribution to appropriate personnel in the ward.
- Check and dispatch duly summarised and completed case-notes and x-rays to Medical Record Office (MRO).
- Follow up & arrange patient’s appointments and ambulance transportation.
- Ensure timely submission of all charge forms with no errors.
- Order patient’s diet according to Daily Admission lists.
- Assist Managers, Executives and staff with administrative works
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- GCE ‘O’ level with minimum of 3 credits including English.
- Diplomas related to healthcare will have an added advantage.
- At least one year of Clerical / Secretarial experience in healthcare related field preferred.
- Proficient in computer skills (preferably MS Works, MS Excel and SAP).
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and / or Dialects is a plus
- Willing to commit and work on alternate Saturdays.
