**Roles & Responsibilities**

As part of a growing team consisting of ML experts, solution architects and software developers as well as social scientists, the **UI/UX Designer **will be a key part of the development of software products for insight generation. Working closely with Technology and R&D teammates, you will be responsible for identifying and solving user problems, defining the product experience and designing product interfaces that will engage and delight users.

As part of a product development team, you will help to:

- Conduct user research and create user personas based on real world data;
- Communicate with stakeholders and the wider team to gather requirements;
- Bring user requirements to life using wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes;
- Prepare designs for handoff to the development team;
- Plan and implement product testing to gather user feedback;
- Analyse and incorporate product analytics, usage metrics and usability findings to iteratively improve product design.

What you will bring to Quilt.ai:

- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience in a technology-related field;
- Part of the successful delivery of at least 1 product to market;
- Experience prototyping in programs such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch;
- Understanding of web development best practices;
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, and Kanban.

Preferred (Additional requirements which are not necessary prerequisites):

- Experience with HTML5 and CSS;
- Experience designing enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or omni-channel experiences.
