SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Regional Business Lead is responsible for delivering on the financial targets, managing supply and order-to-cash, building and enhancing the opportunity pipeline, and leading regional-specific projects to ensure the long-term growth of the business in the region
- Optimize the channels to market (inside and direct sales, distributors, agents, etc) to drive growth in the region
- Manage sales team to maintain/grow business with existing customers and prospect new ones. Set and deliver annual budgets and directly call on a handful of key customers and distributors
- Manage customer service team to process orders, ensure timely supply to customers, and streamline the order-to-cash process
- Drive growth by advancing/closing opportunities in the pipeline and effectively prospecting for new ones
- Lead key projects and growth initiatives specific to the region
- Execute pricing actions as needed to maintain/expand margins and defend existing business
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy in the region to ensure long-term profitable growth
- Connect into the global Technology and Marketing organizations to advance key growth opportunities and marketing initiatives in the region

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Four-year degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Management (MBA a plus)
- 10+ years in the chemicals/polymers industry in commercial roles of increasing responsibility
- Experience having direct reports and managing diverse teams
- History of driving business growth and profitability

EDUCATION:

- Four-year degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Management (MBA a plus)
