**Core Responsibilities**

Strategic Framework Development
- Organize and synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Develop new decision-making frameworks, prioritization tools, and scalable methodologies to guide innovation strategies.
- Create roadmaps and scenario plans that integrate visionary thinking with market realities.

Play, Consumer and Market Insight
- Translate audience and consumer insights into innovation opportunities with potential for business success.
- Analyze data to uncover trends, behaviors, and opportunities that inform strategy.
- Leverage foresight tools to uncover the implications for new play development, capabilities, business models, marketing and product design.

Team Activation and Communication
- Inspire teams through storytelling, both written and visual, using infographics, designed assets, and presentations.
- Act as a bridge between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategic goals and innovation priorities.
- Lead workshops or collaborative sessions to align teams around shared visions.

Creativity and Visionary Leadership
- Cultivate a culture of playfulness and creativity while maintaining a strong focus on business impact.
- Shape innovative approaches to redefine the future of children’s play experiences.
- Serve as a thought leader in identifying untapped opportunities for growth.

Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage data analytics to create insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Build tools or dashboards for tracking progress against strategic goals.
- Promote strategic and data literacy within the team to foster a culture of informed decision-making.

Business Alignment
- Ensure innovation strategies are aligned with broader organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to connect CPL’s innovation efforts with measurable business success.

The Senior Innovation Strategist will play a key role in shaping the future of play within the Creative Play Lab (CPL). Reporting to the Head of Strategic Play Innovation, this role combines strategic thinking with creative vision to unlock new opportunities for both consumers and the business.

Our role in the business is to guide an innovation pipeline that will enable the LEGO Group to have the right solutions and capabilities to safeguard the future of the LEGO brand and ensure a long-term competitive advantage. Within CPL, we make innovation and creative genius count by connecting innovation value to business value, igniting a thriving culture of bold exploration and purposeful creativity. We help CPL get smart, move fast and sharpen focus in how we create, maintain and deliver value.

You will be part of the development of insightful innovation strategies: translating complex information into clear direction, creating decision-making frameworks, and enabling teams to move forward with confidence and creativity. By balancing analytical rigor with imagination, you’ll help connect the dots between what’s possible and what’s next.

Success in this role requires a strong strategic approach, a passion for innovation, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and convincingly. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, working collaboratively across teams, and inspiring teams to push boundaries while staying grounded in real-world impact.
