Data Management Intern

As part of this mission, we are seeking a motivated **Data Management Intern** to help organize, optimize, and structure our shared drive data architecture. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, organization, and project coordination within a collaborative team environment.

**Areas of ownership & responsibilities**
- Data Organization: Review, clean, and restructure existing files, folders, and shared drive systems for improved efficiency and accessibility.
- Data Governance: Ensure data is accurately categorized, labeled, and stored following naming conventions and version control best practices.
- Gap Analysis: Identify duplicate, outdated, or unnecessary files and collaborate with team members to confirm removals.
- Standardization: Create or refine a data architecture framework, including templates, folder structures, and standard operating procedures.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation of the final shared drive structure and usage guidelines for the team.
- Coordination: Work with key stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify data requirements, and ensure alignment on the drive structure.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Basic understanding of file naming conventions and version control.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Slack) and knowledge of data visualization or workflow mapping tools are a bonus.
