As an AI Ethics and Governance Specialist, you will be part of our diverse and dynamic AI Ethics and Governance team based in our Singapore Technology Center working on AI risk assessment and governance processes in the organization as well as technical implementation for XAI.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**You will have the opportunity to be a pioneer in the rapidly growing and ever recognized field of Responsible AI. In this role, you will**:

- ** Find and mitigate risks in AI projects. **Play a vital role during the design and planning phase of AI systems. Work with business and technical stakeholders and the AI Ethics and Governance team to identify and assess potential risks and impacts, recommend appropriate mitigations, and prevent harm.
- ** Co-ordinate efforts between AI Ethics and Governance team and technical and business stakeholders.** Ensure assessments are completed smoothly by assisting stakeholders with inquiries and providing advice on completed assessments.
- ** Support development and implementation of policy processes and further the field of AI ethics.** Be involved with building a safe, responsible, and ethical AI ecosystem in the organization and external industry. Stay on top of technological developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, and support the roll out of policy processes to improve compliance. Train others on AI ethics and contribute to external initiatives.
- ** Implement Explainable AI (XAI), develop tests, and audit AI models and data sets for bias and fairness. **Design and conduct tests and experiments using open-source and enterprise tools to evaluate in-house and commercial AI solutions for bias, fairness, and explainability.

**Education Minimum Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- 2+ years relevant working experience (e.g. data science, AI ML engineering, software development, cybersecurity and more)
- Experience in risk management, assessment and/or analysis.
- Enjoy working in a diverse and cross-functional team with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in data analytics, statistics, experimental design and machine learning tools and techniques (e.g. Python or R, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, Dataiku, Databricks, Amazon SageMaker, generative models, synthetic data)
- Experience in XAI tools and techniques (e.g. SHAP, LIME and more)
- Self-motivated and driven to learn new topics and develop your domain expertise. You find excitement in being at the bleeding edge of an emerging field.
- Passionate about building a fairer and more inclusive AI ecosystem with respect for all. You have a keen interest in AI ethics, explainable AI, data privacy and governance frameworks.
