ING’s Financial Institutions (**FI) **sector combines relationship management, multi product sales and structured lending for Bank and Non-bank Financial Institutions (**NBFI**). NBFI clients include sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, securities companies and asset managers.

Financial Institutions Sector Lending Asia Pacific (**FISLA)** is responsible for all financing in Asia Pacific where the underlying exposure is to a Bank or a NBFI. FI Insurance Sector Finance (**ISF) **is based out of ING London and** **is one of the leading financing teams in the world, providing lending and capital solutions to the global insurance and reinsurance industries.

As part of ING’s overall NBFI APAC strategy a dedicated ISF APAC team will be set up in Singapore. This team will focus on the provision of the existing global ISF products to APAC-based (re)insurance companies as well as to develop APAC specific products that fit within ING’s risk appetite and overlap with ING’s chosen client strategy

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Origination and execution of reinsurance collateral, Tier I/ Tier II capital, acquisition finance and working capital transaction for life and non-life (re)insurers
- Close cooperation with FI coverage and FISLA teams while actively developing new and stronger relations with insurance clients across APAC.
- Prepare and present transaction proposals to internal stakeholders
- Produce and finalise credit papers, and discuss with risk management and other stakeholders
- Prepare and negotiate term sheets, facility agreements and other ancillary documentation
- Completion of annual credit reviews and portfolio monitoring
- Close coordination with FI Transaction Services on the issuance of regulatory guarantees and SBLCs to insurance companies

**We are looking for**:

- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Insurance structured finance market including experience with global re-insurers and ideally the Lloyds’s insurance market
- High degree of numeracy and strong credit structuring skills with ability to understand and analyse non-bank financial institutions
- Ability to cooperate effectively with stakeholders while working to deadlines and a high level of initiative and common sense with limited supervision
- The ambition to grow skills, capabilities and networks fast
- The ability to work in a highly international environment both from a client and from a product side with daily interaction with APAC FI Relationship Managers and the ISF Product centre of expertise in London.
