About UED
We at Global Payment UED team are growing at a rapid pace and we are actively seeking out the best talents to join us on this adventure where your contributions will make a global impact for our global customers. We are looking for a talented mobile app or web-based product designers to provide the best payment service experience at ByteDance. You will have the opportunity to explore, conceptualize, communicate, collaborate, execute and ultimately improve the quality of our products.

1. Product Design
- Utilize product design skills to contribute to the creation of high-quality design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Be responsible for user experience design of global and localized payment products, including web-based products for business or mobile apps for consumers
- Engage stakeholders and cross functional teams in customer centric design process and be highly involved in the entire product life-cycle, i.e., product planning, detail design and implementation etc
- Be agile to iterate design and continously polish the user experience to meet user’s needs

2. Design Ops
- Act as a bridge between the design team and the engineering and product management teams, connecting all groups and making sure inter-dependencies are understood and planned effectively.
- Establish the customer experience guarantee process along the whole life cycle of product design and development phases in the business unit wide.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and leaders to foster collaboration and alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc and improve them to enhance the quality and efficiency of the deliverables.

Minimum Qualification
- Proven experience in design operations, design project management, or a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and facilitate resolution.
- Experience in building processes or advocating for user-centered design principles within an organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong inner drive and energy to motivate cross-functional teams and leaders at all levels.
- Strong design and user research sense.
