Argus produces price assessments and analysis of international energy and other commodity markets and offers bespoke consulting services and industry-leading conferences.

**What will you be doing?**

Argus Coal Services provide our clients such as traders, mining companies, financial institutions with the latest accurate, high-quality price assessments, market moving news and intelligence for the thermal coal, steam coal markets to meet the demands of today’s global markets.

The environment is fast paced but values careful thought. You will enjoy collaborative work with colleagues from a range of backgrounds, many located in Argus’ other offices around the globe. There are opportunities to travel and attend industry events, and to develop networks/specific market knowledge, as well as to present at industry conferences and lead webinar sessions.

**What we’re looking for in you**
- A graduate with strong degree
- Ability to develop, source and write industry relevant news to deadline
- Knowledge of the energy and commodity sectors useful but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to network and build contacts with industry executives
- Ability to work effectively with management and meet targets in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency working with Excel and interest in further developing data skills.
- Fluency in Chinese language as you will be working closely with market players in China
