We are seeking a forward-thinking **Technology Risk Lead**for our client in financial services to head the second line of defense for technology risk across 12 international business units.

**About the Role**:
In this senior role, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Technology Risk Management framework, overseeing **9 critical domains**:

- Cybersecurity & Information Security
- Data Privacy
- IT Regulatory Compliance
- Software/Platform Development
- Infrastructure & Operations
- Transformation & Projects
- Third Party Risk
- Data Governance
- AI Ethics

You will provide strategic oversight and advisory, ensuring technology and data-related risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated in line with regulatory and organizational expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and lead a centralized second-line Technology Risk function across all regional operations
- Ensure consistent implementation of risk frameworks, controls, and reporting structures
- Partner closely with group-level and local risk functions to harmonize standards and practices
- Chair the enterprise-wide IT Risk Forum to drive engagement and best practices
- Maintain a group-wide technology risk register and escalate material risks appropriately
- Act as a trusted advisor on complex risk topics across business units and technology functions
- Strengthen risk awareness and culture at all levels of the organization

**Ideal Profile**:
You are an experienced technology risk leader who brings:

- A **Bachelor's or Master’s degree**in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong **leadership experience**across regional or global environments
- Proven success managing risk across multiple domains—particularly cybersecurity, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and IT operations
- Working knowledge of **risk frameworks**(e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and tools (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk)
- Recognized **certifications**such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL
- A background in **financial services, consulting, or digital/technology**-driven environments

Bonus points for exposure to **cloud, AI, DevOps, APIs, agile delivery, or mobile platforms**.
