Singapore Football Association of Singapore Full time

The Head Analyst reports directly to the Director (National U22 and “A” Teams) and is responsible for leading the technical analysis of training sessions and matches for the Men’s, Women’s, and Young Lions National Teams.

This role involves delivering tactical and technical insights through video and data analysis to enhance teams’ and individuals’ performances. Additionally, the Head Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing Singapore's next generation of football analysts by serving as an educator and running football analysis courses.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Performance Analysis**
- **Filming & Archiving**:Record and archive all training sessions and matches of the Singapore Senior National Teams, Young Lions (Singapore Premier League), and international opponents.
- **Technical & Tactical Analysis**:Analyse and provide insights on team and player performance for technical and tactical feedback sessions with the National Team Head Coaches, Technical Director, coaching staff, and players.
- **Scouting**:Conduct opponent analysis, prepare pre-match scouting reports, and deliver video presentations to the coaching staff for tactical preparations.

**Data & Video Management**
- **Data Analysis**:Process and analyse individual and team performance data to produce insights, including video showreels highlighting key moments, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- **Live Match Coding**:Perform real-time coding and analysis during matches and training sessions for use in post-match reviews.
- **Video Library Management**:Maintain an organised database and video library, ensuring footage is archived and shared via the FAS file-sharing platform.

**Coaching Support**
- **Strategy Development**:Use video and data analysis to assist the coaching staff in developing match strategies and tactical adjustments.
- **Coaching Integration**:Collaborate with the National Team coaching staff during training sessions, meetings, and matches to offer analytical support and recommendations.

**Department Leadership**
- **Team Management**:To lead the football analysis department, mentoring and overseeing junior analysts and ensuring high-performance analysis standards are upheld across all national teams.
- **Course Instruction**:To serve as the lead instructor for football analysis courses, helping to educate and grow the community of local football analysts in Singapore.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- **Other Duties**:Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Director (National U22 and “A” Teams) and/or the FAS General Secretary.
