**About the role**

We are looking for a Finance Executive. This job is for you if you would like to support our church’s

mission through accounting, finance, and governance.

Finance team, you will be a business partner:

- Providing timely & accurate reporting, and giving actionable insights
- Providing support to achieve long-term value creation & growth, as well as managing short-term liquidity & financial performance
- Establishing appropriate internal controls, and complying with applicable financial rules regulations

**Your duties will include**:

- Tracking & processing donations received (income)
- Tracking & processing payments (expenses)
- Entering accounting data using QuickBooks software
- Preparing bank & other reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports to management and our Board of Directors
- Preparing annual filings
- Assisting in the budgeting process
- Assisting in the external audit process
- Developing and implementing accounting policies & procedures
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Societies Act,Charities Act, Companies Act, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards)
- Reviewing and improving our existing systems, processes, and internal controls
- Record-keeping and filing
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications
- Competence _
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or CA certification is preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Not required but preferred: QuickBooks accounting software
- Care _
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English (written & spoken)
- Highly driven, teachable, looking to learn and grow with our church
- Having a strong passion and belief in our church’s vision & mission.
