**Job Title**:Production Kitchen Chef**:

**Job Type**:Full-time
**Salary**:$2500 - $3200 (Depending on skill/experience)
**Work Hours**:9AM to 7PM, Monday to Friday _(Closed PH and Weekends) _
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare, cook, and package food items in accordance with standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all food products.
- Follow prep lists and daily production schedules with accuracy.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stove etc
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage or cross-contamination.
- Label and date all prepared items for inventory tracking and rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines (HACCP knowledge preferred).
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to meet daily production goals.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Support special events, seasonal menu changes, and large-scale catering orders as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, commissary, or production environment would be favourable but not compulsory.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of bulk food preparation techniques and equipment.
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in hot or cold environments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
**Preferred Skills**:.**:
- Experience with scaling recipes for large batches.
- Bilingual (Mandarin/Malay/English) is a plus.
- Have a food handler certification.
