**Summary**

We are looking for a Process Engineer to design and implement systems and equipment procedures used in our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for testing and monitoring of equipment, updating the current system processes and conducting risk assessments. - Arrange, plan, schedule, and direct tests to evaluate extruder performance, processing characteristics, and operating parameters in order to find solutions to problems and to advance the art of plant-based meat manufacturing.
- Design solutions to problems and future development requirements, maintain records of tests and results, and prepare reports on extruder and screw performance.
- Lead or support technology transfers from R&D to Production; maintain SOP standards and documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and smooth manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for the development of new technologies and support the production team to ensure production yield and cycle time targets are met; troubleshoot processing line as and when necessary.
- Provide comprehensive technical support to facilitate production operations.
- Document all process development and modifications (including upgrades and changes) related to the process.
- Track and analyse process data to drive process efficiency, determine root cause and CAPAs.
- Lead or participate in the investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for various production events and equipment failures; ensure that all relevant CAPAs are completed timely.
- Develop requirements and specifications for tools and machines.
- Ensure adequate preventive & predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Experiment with the extruder to ensure its validity and operations by installing and running the extrusion equipment and process.
- Monitor and evaluate technical development in the space of alternative protein processing.
- Be the main point of contact and consultant to product development, sales, production and customers in areas of the extrusion process, screw design and process parameters.
- Work with and supervise vendors/ contractors to ensure installation, repairs, or maintenance works are carried out timely and with mínimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure that processes and procedures are followed to ensure consistently high-quality output.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in the Food Processing industry.
- Previous experience with extrusion technology is of advantage.
