**Dept: Supply Chain Management**

**Role: Supply Chain Executive
Demand Management:

- Work directly with SG Business Leader and relevant stakeholders to establish demand forecasts at levels representative of product families.
- Review use of statistical modelling/forecasting techniques for the relevant product planning and to achieve financial reconciliation.
- Manage Product Life Cycle including phase in and out activities.
- Accountable for Forecast Accuracy, BO/Availability, and key SC metrics for SG.

S&OP Process:

- Consolidate SG forecast, analyse and prepare for monthly SG S&OP/MBR Meetings
- Identify issues and opportunities with recommended action plans to improve supply chain metrics (Forecast Accuracy, Availability, Inventory etc.).
- E&O review (root cause/CAPA) of inventory
- Robust and adaptive execution of end-to-end supply chain responsibilities with active participation on continuous improvement of SCM framework.
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships and in compliance with the company’s policies and guidelines
- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities
- Evaluate vendor performance to ensure lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveries

Operations:

- Build strong relationships with our factories and suppliers, ensuring a continuous long-term partnership
- Oversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet schedules.
- Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Explore alternate sources for goods and materials

Inventory Control:

- Record order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of vendors and suppliers, purchased products, delivery information, prices, and invoices
- Ensure the inventory is well organized and upkeep of the warehouse is maintained
- Perform physical stock count at month end
- Reconcile differences between book records and physical quantities, providing explanations for any variances in monthly inventory report

**Required Skills, experience, and qualifications**:
Key Skills:

- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Being part of an implementation team for ERP system would be an added advantage.

Prior Experience:

- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in vendor sourcing and purchasing.
- Good knowledge and understanding of overall supply chain management processes.

Qualifications:
Min. Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or related discipline
