Quality Assurance Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform internal audits as per internal audit schedule in accordance to TIMS (Thales Integrated Maturity System) & ISO 9001:2015 standards to ensure Bids and project activity conformance to company processes (Chorus 2.0).
- Closely monitor the closure of audit actions.
- Conducts investigations on non-conformance and evaluates/recommends Corrective Actions.
- Ensure all delivered systems are designed, produced, procured, documented, tested and released in accordance with defined processes and customer requirements.
- Analyses the customer’s quality requirements, defines and sets up the Quality plan(s) in the bid and/or project phase, and makes sure that the plan contains all the measures necessary to fulfil the standards and reference system, including cascading the Quality requirement to suppliers.
- Provide Quality Assurance advice for projects reporting (consolidate Q advice for multi-unit project where TSA is prime) on monthly basis and discuss project quality related issues & opportunities to improve at Individual project meetings. Provide Quality advice for bids as required.
- Provides administrative and technical assistance to Quality Assurance activities in the Thales Solutions Asia in terms of external audits for Certifications and Appraisals. (ISO9001:2015 )
- Provide advice and support to the Project Team/s on process setup or product issues.
- Support and advise the Work Package Manager to manage supplier nonconformity when required.
- Review Project metrics and consolidate the results in Quality Dashboard on monthly basis. (Including Customer feedback register, Alert and Veto tracking, etc)
- Support for all aspects of Programme/Project Quality Assurance as allocated/directed by the Quality Manager.
- Fulfil the duty of alert and veto in his/her team and in relation to the management.
- With the work package manager, work with supplier to improve quality of deliverables and minimize the flow down of non-conformities.
- Participate and contribute in supplier audits, lead by Supplier Quality Leader for supplier qualification and re-qualification.
- Supplier for Security and Defence projects.

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering of any discipline
- Minimum 7 years of Quality Assurance experience in a complex Project environment.
- Operational experience in System & Software development of real time complex projects.
- Experience in work package management, Risk Analysis, and Problem solving methodologies.
- Experience in performing internal/external audits to ISO 9001 or other Quality Management Systems
- Ability to execute operational plans that are aligned to business needs by working closely with Project Managers.
- Strong presentation, influencing and relationship building skills, with the ability to develop rapport with staff at all levels
- Working with suppliers for improvement on deliverables
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and/or CMMI
- Well versed in the area of quality management and process improvement including familiarity with ISO 9001:2015
