Manager / Assistant Manager (Transcription Projects)

**We have an immediate vacancy for a Manager or Assistant Manager (full-time/part-time) at TVC Pte Ltd to manage audio transcription projects.
**If you are passionate about the English language and also equally comfortable with the many facets of Singlish, then this job may be for you. If you have past experience of managing projects or people, then that's an added bonus.
**Job Description / Duties:
- Project management of transcription projects to ensure accuracy and timelines are met
- Management of a team of freelance transcribers and their workloads
- Meticulous tracking and logging of transcription status for each project
- Preparing transcripts for final submission
- Listening to audio recordings to proofread transcribed documents for accuracy in accordance with the style guide for each project
- Providing training and feedback to transcribers and proofreaders
- Any other duties as may be assigned
**Requirements / Qualifications:
- Excellent written and spoken English with a good understanding of local Singaporean accents
- Minimum Diploma and 1 year experience or Degree in any field
- Meticulous and highly organised
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to quickly pick up use of new software
- Willingness to learn and keep improving processes
- Excellent listening and typing skills
- Able to work at our office in Chinatown
- Past experience in transcription is an advantage but not a requirement
