**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Material Controller**

We are looking for a dedicated Material Controller who is responsible for material management at site. He / She collects all the documents and certification covering the arrival of materials at site and provides for recording of their movements.

To be a successful Material Controller, you should have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills. You should also have excellent organizational, time management, leadership and decision-making skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Involve in project to ensure smooth flow of project materials by coordinating with individual disciplines/ trades in supporting department
- Daily updates the material status of Purchased items
- To utilize the surplus materials prior raising any Purchase Request
- To evaluate MTO from Engineering to ensure all information is aligned and captured
- Familiar with project material specifications / requirements such as approved vendor list (AVL), country of restrictions if any
- Prepare material status report and update periodically
- To manage information relevant to arrival of materials at site and their availability at the warehouse
- To manage the receiving, check, storage and preservation of materials delivered at site
- To manage the receiving, check, recording and traceability of material certificates
- Raise technical query for material substitution and non-approved vendor acceptance

**Job Requirements**:

- Professional Certificate / NiTEC, Diploma, Professional Degree in any related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in related field
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
