**Role Purpose**:

- This is a quota-carrying sales role for someone with well-developed consultative selling sales skills.
- The primary objective is to acquire new logo life insurance clients in certain countries across Asia Pacific, selling directly to insurers.
- Further, working with internal teams and partners, you will play a key role in the build-out and development of new offerings / markets in Asia.
- Highly commercially astute, with the ability to effectively negotiate and conclude contracts at the highest level.
- Proactively pursue the objective of becoming a recognised and highly visible thought-leader in the industry

**Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years work experience across life insurance, software and/or fin/insure-tech industries.
- A proven sales track record, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills: a proven ability to communicate with impact.
- Well-developed consultative selling sales skills
- Excellent Prospecting skills (ability to canvass for new business) and opportunity management skills.
- In depth knowledge of the Life Insurance market
- Contacts at a decision maker level in our target market
- Excellent track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent organizational and personal management skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.

Key Competencies:

- Fluent Mandarin and English language (written and verbal) skills are a pre-requisite.
- High level of personal initiative demonstrated in reaching goals.
- Proven innovative and creative solution developer.

Please note: This role involves extensive and regular international travel.
