**Your role in the Team**

Alongside our global client servicing teams, you will be joining the Singapore Trading Services team to deliver a stellar experience to clients from all over the world. As a Trainee Sales Trader, we will provide you with dedicated training to equip you with the necessary skills to excel.

As we are constantly innovating in the client servicing landscape, you'll get:

- Personalised one-on-one training with our dedicated trainers
- Gain a strong understanding of various financial instruments such as stocks, options, futures, FX, cryptocurrencies, bonds and commodities
- Develop a strong foundation of platform, account management and client support knowledge
- Continued training in every aspect of financial dealing to ensure you are equipped to provide trade execution services to our clients

**What you'll do**

Trading Services is the knowledge base of our business, developing you for a range of roles across our global organisation. Local and international opportunities within our dealing desk, risk, compliance, sales, operations, IT and many more lie for best performers.
- Uphold stellar client servicing standards for our Cantonese and Mandarin speaking client.
- Champion the client across a wide range of queries and cross-selling of our products and platforms
- Provide trading expertise on P&L and margin calculations, order types, charges, trade investigations
- Deliver an execution-only phone dealing service (following relevant training and support)
- Assist clients with technical support on our front-end platforms and chart packages
- Convey any regulatory, financial markets or IG related changes to clients in a timely manner
- Conducting audit checks and client administration tasks
- Provide information relating to any ongoing corporate actions on clients' accounts

**What you'll need for this role**

You will need a genuine interest for working in financial markets, along with motivation levels as impressive as your aptitude for numbers and attention to detail - plus:

- A degree-level education, finance-related preferred
- 6 -18 months experience in a client facing or middle office role, preferably in the financial services space
- A keen, demonstrable interest in the understanding of financial markets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starting, enthusiastic team-player, with the ability to handle pressure
- A logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with a strong aptitude for numbers
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken)
