You write clear, concise, and compelling content that is informative and engaging for various platforms and audiences. When conducting research, you make clear your objectives before you start and are meticulous in your approach. You can synthesise and draw sound conclusions about the information you have gathered. You know about the required citation standards to credit your sources. You work well under pressure and in a dynamic team of creative people. You are organised, have an eye for details, and can work independently and effectively meet tight deadlines. You possess good people and project management skills and are curious about the people and things around you.
- What will you be doing?- Use content collected through in-depth research to guide the project team in developing creative concepts, storylines, designs, and user engagement experiences across a range of platforms and audiences
- Conduct research on a wide range of topics to gather accurate and relevant information through different sources, academic publications and literature, and when required, conduct focus groups and interviews
- Synthesise research to produce accurate and clear written prose and reports based on research and data collected to ensure that the written materials are relevant to and well-received by the target audience and meet project objectives
- Assist the Content Lead in formulating and developing the content strategies for both internal and external projects
- Work with the management team to produce content for in-house materials such as blogs, websites, marketing materials and training materials, etc
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it is error-free and meets the required standards
- Stay up-to-date with writing trends and styles to ensure that content for different mediums, including print publications, exhibitions, web and social platforms, remains relevant and current
- What are we looking for?- Five or more years of experience in content creation, research, copywriting and editing
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience writing for different platforms and audiences is strongly preferred
- Excellent research skills and the ability to gather and analyse information from a variety of sources
- Enjoys creative works and has a curious mind with interest in different disciplines will be an added advantage
- Ability to communicate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
