Warehouse Assistant

This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s distribution network. This role assists the Warehouse and/or Unit Manager in maintaining all standards in accordance with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels while meeting customer requirements in an efficient manner as a Warehouse Assistant. Warehouse Assistant monitor, and support the productivity and efficiency of the shift. This position safely operate forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, sorting, packing, and transporting products.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and will impact where actual compensation may fall within the stated wage range. The wage range listed for this role takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Document Processing
- Process PDI PO receipts for incoming raw materials.
- Process PDI move entries from Valspar to External Warehouse.
- Process PDI move entries from External Warehouse to Valspar.
- Process National Environment Agency reports for waste chemicals disposal.
- Keep track and record all waste chemical disposal.
- Process Oracle 11i for returned totes from Crown & Malaysia.
- Process Oracle 11i for materials requisitions from Technical.
- Process entry reversals for wrong entries.
- Follow up on Delivery Orders with Suppliers and Warehouse.
- Print GHS labels for export shipments.
- Change lot status. Other Oracle 11i processing as required.

Issue manual Purchase Requisitions for the following regular miscellaneous purchases:

- Recycle pallet
- Gloves
- Machine stretch film
- GHS label paper
- Handpump
- Thermal ribbon
- Packing film
- Waste chemicals disposal
- Industrial paper tissue
- Raw materials labels
- PET straps
- Tote washing

Distribute documents to:

- Finance Department; and
- Other relevant staff (e.g. heat treatment cert to Customer Service, collection notes, miscellaneous vendor DOs to Receptionist/Admin Assistant).

Filing of Documents
- File all documents into respective areas.

Stock Reconciliation
- Reconcile the stock of external warehouses against Valspar stock.

Samples
- Ensure sample list is updated on excel spreadsheet.

Other Assignments
- Perform other assignments as required.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as forklifts

Skills and Experience
- Highly organized - with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in inventory management
- Experience in working with a warehouse computer system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- ITE / Diploma in Warehouse / Logistics or Supply Chain
