**Be Part of Us**
As an IT Systems Engineer in the Information Technology (IT) team, you will be reporting to the IT Team Leader. In this role, you will support our high-performance computing (HPC) IT operations team in System, Storage and Network Support. On the job, you get to learn about the different tools and methodologies that are used in handling the company’s computer hub whilst gaining real world IT operational experience in an evolving technology company.

At the forefront of executing exceptional IT capabilities, our IT Systems Engineers are experts at providing streamlined operational support to our teams with an optimised suite of IT infrastructure. As a global technology and HPC leader, IT in CGG is about maintaining hardware and software systems to keep abreast of the ever-evolving technological developments. **Job Overview**
- Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software, and other systems
- Provide first and second line IT support to the team by assisting in daily tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment like computers, servers, and storage systems
- Research unusual bugs or issues that the company encounters
- Remain abreast of technology to ensure advancement of expertise within scope
- Interact with IT leads and project teams to understand and solve complex issues

**Desired Key Skills**
- HPC systems architecture, compute and/or storage
- Linux distributions
- Systems administration
- Scripting and programming languages
- Open-source analytics and monitoring software
- Computational thinking

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master degree, ideally from a Science, Technology or Engineering background
