The mission of the Youth Preventive Service Group (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is to promote good health through early detection and intervention to reduce ill health among the school children. There are also upscale efforts to reduce obesity prevalence among Singapore students. The services provided by the Group include health and dental screening, immunisation, and lifestyle intervention programmes for the children and youth in Singapore.
You will be a part of the YPS Strategic Operations Department that drives the new work in cross-cutting operations to extract value from process optimization, reduce inefficiencies through waste elimination and improve service standards to achieve service and operation excellence.
**What You Can expect**
As a key member of the Strategic Operations Department, you will focus on the development of digital solutions to improve operational efficiencies and customer service excellence. You will be the primary point of contact and provide support throughout the project development & implementation phases.
You are required to:
- Develop a strategic digital solution including the product roadmap that aligns with the overarching direction of the division’s digitalization strategy and priorities.
- Set up project structure and governance framework, including putting in place key processes and SOPs
- Conduct a thorough assessment and oversee the project’s scope, objectives, desired outcomes, deliverables, target timeline, budget, risk mitigation strategies and resource allocation.
- Assume the role of the business lead and collaborate closely with stakeholders to execute the product roadmap.
- Resolve issues and/or escalate to appropriate level for resolution.
- Point of contact for system audit and regular reviews
- Secretariat to project steering and working committees.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Able to work with ambiguity, and investigate to sense-make and propose sound and timely solutions.
- Able to rally both internal and external stakeholders to work towards a collective purpose, and co-create solutions for common good.
- Good project management skills with experience in IT system development and implementation, with p roven results in working with wide spectrum of stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile environment for product development
- Possess a keen sense of both business/operational needs and customer centricity, with a strategic viewpoint and the ability to translate them into product strategy/roadmap
- Technology-savvy and always at the forefront of technology
- Has understanding of good UI/UX best practices
- Experience in healthcare and/or clinical operations projects preferred, but not necessary for consideration
