Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and effectively manage all kitchen operations.
- Develop menus based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing training.
- Ensure that food quality and safety standards are met.
- Control food costs and operate within budget constraints.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
- Create new dishes and experiment with different ingredients to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
**Requirements**:
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts, food and beverage management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent culinary skills and ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines for food production and safety in Singapore.
